The Hard Summer Takeover You Cannot Afford to Miss

Los Angeles is about to experience a seismic cultural jolt as HARD Summer 2025 returns with a vengeance. And this time, it’s not just the festival that’s turning heads.

From August 1st to 3rd, the HARD Weekender is set to dominate Southern California with three explosive days of music and nightlife, culminating in an extended orbit of pre- and after-parties that are nearly as anticipated as the main event itself.

Saturday Brings the Heat with Genre-Bending Powerhouses

Saturday’s main event lineup features an electrifying blend of hip hop, house, techno, bass, and pop-infused dance sets. FEID will deliver his chart-topping Latin swagger while Busta Rhymes brings unmatched stage presence and lyrical mastery. The Blessed Madonna is back and bolder than ever, delivering an unrelenting groove that promises to transcend generations of ravers.

Kaytranada will guide the crowd into a euphoric state with his signature blend of funk, soul, and smooth beats. Gordo, fresh off a worldwide tour, is expected to deliver one of his most high-octane sets yet, while Sara Landry leads the harder techno front alongside MALUGI and Floating Points (Live), who’ll serve a cerebral, leftfield journey for the real heads.

Other notables on Saturday’s bill include Overmono (DJ Set), Blackchild, Loco Dice, STVSHT, Funk Tribu, and the much-anticipated Habstrakt B2B JSTJR experience, blending bass house and Latin textures into a sweaty, unforgettable set.

Sunday Escalates the Madness with High-Voltage Acts and Rare B2Bs

The energy doesn’t let up on Sunday. Gesaffelstein returns to Los Angeles for what might be his only US appearance this summer, bringing his industrial techno edge and dark allure to the Hollywood crowd. Four Tet, always an emotional masterclass, is set to perform a signature sunset or nightfall set filled with sonic surprises.

999999999 will push BPMs to the limit, while Adam Ten B2B Mita Gami and KI/KI B2B DJ Gigola bring rare collaborative performances fans won’t see anywhere else. James Hype, Dom Dolla, and Barry Can’t Swim will lead the charge for house lovers, while the deeper end gets heavy with ØTTA, Nico Moreno, and I Hate Models commanding the techno spectrum.

Hard Summer has also booked performances from Juvenile & The 400 Degreez Band (yes, that Juvenile) plus Deorro, Yamagucci, Trace, and Narciss, ensuring a multi-genre blowout no matter what stage you’re at.

Afterparties Extend the Rave Across Hollywood

What makes this year’s Hard Summer truly elite is the official afterparty programming. Once the festival gates close each night, the beat continues at select clubs across Hollywood with curated after-hours lineups.

Friday night kicks off with sounds from Jacq Jill B2B Minx, Jane Black, Juliet Mendoza, and Willaa, setting the tone for the weekend. On Saturday, revelers can catch high-energy sets from legends like Justin Jay B2B Birak, DJ Playing Records, and Kayla Ganzo. These club nights are deeply intimate but equally explosive, giving fans a chance to get up close to some of their favorite underground artists.

By Sunday, when most festivals would be winding down, Hard Summer turns up again. DJ Minx returns alongside Julez, Felix Da Housecat, and more, wrapping up the weekend with a bang and probably the best afterparty crowd in the country.
