Splash House 2023 August Weekend 1Splash House Palms Springs: Your Ultimate Guide to August Weekend One

The world’s biggest and baddest pool party is coming back to Palm Springs in August 2023, when Splash House returns with its signature mix of fun in the sun and the hottest techno and EDM in the scene. If you’ve ever been to a rave and thought that the only thing missing was a pool to cool off in and a comfortable hotel room, this is the festival for you.

The first weekend of the year will take place from August 11-13, with general admission starting at an extremely reasonable $165. For the price, Splash House provides the ultimate fun summer weekend partying in the pool with your friends while some of the hottest chart-topping artists in the world spin their records and drop beats for you.

For those who want to keep the party going all night, there is an all-night rave afterparty at the Palm Springs Air Museum for an additional $50, and the truly dedicated can get an excellent deal on a season pass for all three weekends for only $499. Splash House is a revolutionary and unique experience unlike any other, so if you’re feeling hot this summer and looking for a way to cool down and have an amazing time, get your tickets now.

The Location

This year marks a special occasion for Splash House, as it’s the 10th anniversary of the event. Founded in 2013 by brother and sister Tyler and Kelly McLean, Splash House quickly became one of Palm Springs’ most loved events along with Coachella.

Splash House takes place spread across three different hotels, with a general admission pass allowing you access to all three and shuttles to get you around between them. Once you get there, you don’t have to worry about a thing – just hop on the shuttle and you can cruise from hotel to hotel easily.

The three hotels have played host to Splash House many times before. If you’re looking for the ultimate experience, a more economical cost, and all the benefits that come from having your own private room at a rave, Splash House offers 3-day passes that include a hotel room in each of these host hotels:

  • The Saguaro

The Saguaro Hotel has been involved with Splash House since the beginning and is often considered the unofficial hub of the event. With uniquely beautiful Mexican-inspired decor and rooms, this is an excellent choice for anyone new to Splash House.

  • The Renaissance

Featuring the largest pool in Palm Springs, the Renaissance Hotel is nestled snugly at the base of the gorgeous San Jacinto Mountains in downtown. If you plan to be in the pool a lot, this is the hotel for you.

  • Margaritaville

With a unique and nostalgic island-themed feel inspired by Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville is the perfect backdrop for your Instagram pictures. Slightly smaller but with a more cozy and connected vibe, this hotel will have one of the most fun parties out of the three.

Artists at Splash House

Of course, there’s more to Splash House than just pool parties. It also features some of the best modern music available, with a wide selection of rap, dubstep, house, trance, and other electronica to set the backdrop.

For Weekend One, some of the artists you can look forward to seeing are:

  • CID

  • J. Worra

  • Lee Foss

  • Deeper Purpose

  • LP Giobbi

  • Vintage Culture

  • Wax Motif

  • DJ Minx

  • ODESZA (at the afterparty)

The best part of Splash House is the unique atmosphere. Instead of being at a hot, crowded, dusty rave, you can play games, splash in the pool, and laugh with your friends at a beautiful hotel while the music blasts around you.

It’s an experience like no other, and you won’t want to miss it! Buy your tickets soon, as the summer season will sell out quickly.
