This past Friday was the opening of the OC Fair in Orange County, California. To kick off the start of the fair, the Pacific Amphitheater hosted Rebelution with special guests Collie Buddz, Iya Terra and DJ Mackle. This concert was the start of many Summer shows at the 2019 OC Fair.

It was a perfect California evening with the sun shining and beautiful faces all around us. Parking was quick and easy at the OC Fairgrounds and we got into the venue earlier than expected. Staff and security were very friendly and helpful throughout the event

The show started at 6 pm with J Mackle warming up the crowd for a wonderful night ahead. After performing for approximately 30 minutes, Iya Terra came on and rocked the crowd.

There was a quick break prior to Collie Buddz coming on and taking the stage with a bang. Colin Harper brought the crowd to life with his unique Bermudian style of reggae music. Watching the sunset behind Collie Buddz was the perfect backdrop to kick off a beautiful Friday evening.

Rebelution came on at 8:30 pm and played for an hour and a half! They played their new music and also brought back some of their early classics. It was a great show at an amazing venue.

The concert was sold out Friday so a second show was added Saturday, which also sold out. The Pacific Amphitheater was packed with happy people spreading positive vibes while listening to reggae music. Everyone had smiles on their faces and a gleam of joy in their eyes.

If you have not been to the OC Fair we highly recommend it. With your purchase of the concert ticket, you can go to the fair for free. The OC Fair is huge and is full of unique things to do such as carnival rides and games, live shows, delicious food, and so much more!

If you are seeing a show at the Pacific Amphitheatre, it is recommended to arrive early so that you can spend some time enjoying the OC Fair. A few hours at the fair is good, but you can easily spend all day there and not see everything.
