Los Angeles, CA – June 18, 2026 — Eight-time GRAMMY-nominated producer, DJ, and electronic music icon Kaskade and global dance music experience curator Insomniac have officially announced the return of Sun Soaked, bringing the signature beachside festival experience back to Huntington State Beach on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Presented in partnership with Insomniac, Sun Soaked returns following a sold-out 2025 edition, continuing its evolution as one of Southern California’s most distinctive dance music experiences. Set directly on the sands of Huntington Beach, the festival combines world-class electronic music with the natural backdrop of the Pacific coastline, creating a uniquely California experience rooted in community, connection, and music.

This year’s lineup features performances from Kaskade, Cassian, Matroda, BUNT., D.O.D, Me N Ü, Lavern, Bobby Harvey, and Esse.

Kaskade will perform two exclusive sets throughout the day, including a solo headline performance and a special back-to-back set with BUNT. – marking a rare live collaboration between two generations of electronic music artists. The appearance follows the recent release of their collaborative single “Comes Back Around,” which debuted during Kaskade’s landmark return to Coachella earlier this year and has quickly become one of the defining records of his current ORIGIN // era.

The announcement arrives amid a career-defining year for Kaskade. Earlier this spring, he closed the Sahara Stage at Coachella with one of the festival’s most talked-about performances, unveiling ORIGIN //, a completely reimagined live concept and announcing his forthcoming album live on stage. Since then, he has released the official EDC Las Vegas 2026 anthem “Meet Again” alongside Layton Giordani and Natalie Jane, launched new collaborations with BUNT., and embarked on a global touring cycle spanning EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, Tomorrowland, and headline performances worldwide.

For Kaskade, Sun Soaked remains one of his most personal projects – a festival built around his longstanding connection to Southern California beach culture and the idea that dance music experiences can feel expansive without losing their sense of intimacy.

“Sun Soaked has always been about bringing people together somewhere that feels different,” says Kaskade. “There’s something about standing on the beach with the ocean behind you, surrounded by people who love music, that changes the energy completely. Every year it evolves a little bit, but the feeling stays the same. That’s what keeps bringing me back.”

Originally launched in 2017 with Insomniac, Sun Soaked quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after events on the West Coast, growing from a boutique beach gathering into a destination experience that regularly attracts fans from around the world. Following its highly successful return in 2025, the festival now enters its next chapter as an annual staple on the Southern California music calendar.

About Kaskade:

Kaskade, born Ryan Raddon, has solidified his place as one of the most influential figures in electronic music. An eight-time GRAMMY Award nominee, his accolades include a nomination as part of Kx5, his collaboration with fellow producer deadmau5.

In April 2026, Kaskade debuted his new live concept ORIGIN // Origin // at Coachella, delivering one of the festival’s most talked-about performances. The set marked a defining creative moment – featuring the debut of nine new songs, a rare move at that scale, alongside his most ambitious production yet. The performance also served as the live announcement of his forthcoming album, signaling a new chapter that bridges the emotional depth of his recent work with a forward-facing, large-scale vision.

In December 2025, Kaskade released undux, his most personal album to date, marking a return to introspective songwriting and emotional storytelling. The project re-centered his artistic identity and laid the groundwork for his current evolution.

Kaskade’s legacy continued its upward trajectory in 2023 when he and deadmau5 graced the cover of Billboard and headlined SXSW. Their groundbreaking show at the LA Memorial Coliseum in 2022 set a record for the largest single-day concert headlined by an electronic artist in North America, according to Pollstar, with Billboard also naming it the biggest ticketed global headliner dance event of that year.

In 2024, Kaskade expanded his presence across major global platforms. In February, he made history as the first-ever in-game DJ at the Super Bowl, performing in front of over 123.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. In March, he was named Best Male Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio EDM Awards, while Kx5 took home Best New Group. In May, he became the first-ever starting grid DJ at a Formula 1 race in Miami.

His momentum in the sports and live event space continued throughout 2024 with performances at the X Games in Ventura, a post-Phillies game set in July, and a LIV Golf tournament. He also made surprise appearances at Coachella, joining John Summit and Alison Wonderland in 2024, and completed a 3-hour back-to-back set with Idris Elba in 2025.

Kaskade’s fanbase is nothing short of evangelical, driven by his ability to evolve while maintaining a deeply emotional core. Across decades of output, he has consistently redefined the boundaries of dance music, earning recognition as one of the genre’s original curve-benders.
