Excision’s Lost Lands Music Festival returns to Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio for another kick ass year the weekend of September 14-16th. Lost Lands has quickly become one of dance music’s favorite festivals since its debut last September. The fans have spoken, and Jeff Abel aka Excision will be delivering one of the most epic festival experiences of Prehistoric proportions for a second year in a row. You won’t want to miss out on 1,000,00 watts of bass, two full-size main stages, late night sound camps, 3x more giant dinosaurs, and so much more!
This year’s lineup is nothing short of epic with some of the heaviest bass acts including headliners Excision, Flux Pavilion, Ganja White Night, Illenium, Jauz, Nero, NGHTMRE, Rezz, Rusko, Slander, Snails, and Zomboy. As we excitedly await to travel back to the holy grounds, the Shralpin team thought it would be interesting to predict which headliner’s songs would be dinosaur favorites. Join us as we go back in time to the Mesozoic Era to explore the potential favorite songs of popular dinosaurs such as the T-Rex, Velociraptor, and Brachiosaurus. Enjoy!
The Tyrannosaurus Rex, or T-Rex, was one of the biggest carnivores to roam the earth, known for its powerful jaws and small, claw-like front legs. Despite the T-Rex having small arms with limited range of motion, we could still envision it trying its hardest to throw elbows to some Excision. Getter and Virtual Riot’s huge remix of Excision’s mighty track “Throwing Elbows” would be a T-Rex approved tune.
If this year’s installment of the festival is anything like last years, you can bet that Excision will be delivering insane sets all weekend long. You can also catch Virtual Riot throw down some nasty tunes during his set at Lost Lands.
Velociraptors were some of the most intelligent, speedy dinosaurs to walk this earth. We could imagine a pack of velociraptors jamming out to a fast-paced Drum n Bass slammer like the Dirtyphonics remix of Nero’s “Me & You” while speedily hunting down their prey. You won’t want to miss this headliner throw down some sick DnB tracks this year at Lost Lands!
The Brachiosaurus was a gentle giant with a long neck that reached incredible sizes. We believe that this long neck would have enjoyed getting weird to a bass heavy, ground shaking track like “Edge” produced by none other than Space Mom herself. Be prepared to be put under Rezz’s spell as she manipulates the masses at Lost Lands.
