Goldrush Music Festival 2026 Recap: Midnight Riders Takes Over Arizona

Goldrush Music Festival returned to Rawhide Western Town & Event Center in Chandler, Arizona, on September 11 and 12, 2026, for its Midnight Riders edition. Presented by Relentless Beats, the two night electronic music festival brought more than 100 artists and local acts to the Wild West themed venue, led by headliners Alesso, deadmau5, GRiZ, and Martin Garrix.

Goldrush has always stood apart from a typical EDM festival because of its setting. Rawhide is an 1880s inspired Western town near Phoenix, giving festivalgoers a backdrop that fits naturally with the Goldrush theme.

This year’s schedule covered a wide spectrum of electronic music. House, bass, dubstep, melodic dance music, and harder sounds all had space across the weekend. With sets running from early evening until 2 a.m., Goldrush 2026 gave Arizona EDM fans two packed nights of music.

Goldrush 2026 Festival Overview

Friday opened with Molly Otto at Golden Gorge at 6 p.m., followed by DØMINA and MitiS. The energy continued to climb with AC Slater and Sullivan King before deadmau5 took over from 11:25 p.m. to 12:40 a.m. Alesso then closed Golden Gorge with the final 12:45 a.m. to 2 a.m. slot.

That was just one part of Friday’s schedule. Pioneer Peak featured Joust B2B Mongrel, Zoey808, Kaivon, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Boogie T, and ALLEYCVT. The Hideout offered another direction with Saleh, Airrica, Broken Hill, CID, and Green Velvet.

Saturday brought another full evening of electronic music. The Golden Gorge schedule moved through Ripoff, Surf Mesa, Valentino Khan, DJ Pauly D, it’s murph, GRiZ, and Martin Garrix. According to the official set times, GRiZ played at 11 p.m. before Martin Garrix closed the stage beginning at 12:45 a.m.

Pioneer Peak provided a bass heavy alternative with Valkorion, Rossy, Lady Faith, Know Good, Deathpact, Delta Heavy, and Ray Volpe. The Hideout featured The Pontiac House Project, RSquared, IDEMI, Silva Bumpa, and Riordan. The larger lineup also included dozens of artists across The Crossroads, Silent Disco, Mission to Uranus, and Moonshine Room.

Rawhide Western Town Made Goldrush Feel Different

A Festival Venue Built Around the Wild West Theme

One of the strongest parts of the Goldrush experience is the location itself.

Rawhide Western Town & Event Center is a Western themed environment rather than an empty festival field temporarily decorated for the weekend. Goldrush used that existing setting as the foundation for Midnight Riders, combining electronic music with the buildings, pathways, and desert surroundings of Rawhide.

The festival map placed Golden Gorge near the center of the action, with Pioneer Peak and The Hideout farther into the grounds. Additional areas included The Crossroads and several smaller stages and music spaces. Food, bars, merchandise, free water, lockers, restrooms, medical services, and other amenities were distributed throughout the site.

For fans searching for unique EDM festival experiences in Arizona, the venue remains one of the qualities that separates Goldrush from a conventional concert setup.

Alesso and deadmau5 Close Out Friday

Friday’s Golden Gorge schedule created a strong closing sequence.

Sullivan King took the stage at 10:20 p.m., followed by deadmau5 at 11:25 p.m. and Alesso at 12:45 a.m. That progression also showed the range of Goldrush’s main stage programming, moving between heavier electronic sounds and two longtime names in electronic dance music.

Fans looking for something heavier had plenty of alternatives. Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Boogie T, and ALLEYCVT occupied the final Pioneer Peak slots, while Green Velvet received a two hour midnight closing set at The Hideout.

GRiZ and Martin Garrix Lead Saturday Night

Saturday’s Golden Gorge schedule was equally stacked.

Valentino Khan was scheduled for 7:40 p.m., DJ Pauly D at 8:45 p.m., it’s murph at 9:50 p.m., GRiZ at 11 p.m., and Martin Garrix at 12:45 a.m.

That lineup created one of the busiest stretches of Goldrush 2026 and gave fans several different styles without leaving the main stage.

At the same time, Pioneer Peak delivered a completely different route through Saturday night. Deathpact was scheduled at 10:10 p.m., followed by Delta Heavy at 11:15 p.m. and Ray Volpe at 12 a.m.

Those overlapping schedules are part of what made Goldrush a true multi stage electronic music festival rather than simply a sequence of headliners.

House, Bass, Dubstep and Dance Music Across Goldrush

Genre diversity was one of the clearest strengths of the Goldrush 2026 lineup.

Fans could build completely different schedules depending on what they wanted to hear. Artists including Green Velvet, CID, AC Slater, Riordan, and Silva Bumpa gave house fans plenty to explore. Bass fans could move toward acts such as Boogie T, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, ALLEYCVT, Deathpact, Delta Heavy, and Ray Volpe.

Then there were major crossover electronic artists including Alesso, deadmau5, GRiZ, and Martin Garrix anchoring the two nights.

The smaller stages also mattered. Goldrush’s lineup extended far beyond the biggest names on the poster, with local and emerging artists filling The Crossroads, Mission to Uranus, Moonshine Room, and Silent Disco schedules.

That depth gave attendees a reason to explore rather than spend the entire night waiting at one stage.

Memorable Parts of the Goldrush Midnight Riders Experience

Goldrush works because the Western concept extends beyond the festival name.

The Midnight Riders theme matched Rawhide’s existing setting, while the festival map connected stages, bars, food vendors, retail areas, and other experiences throughout the property. The result was an event designed around movement and discovery rather than one central performance area.

There were also practical features for a long festival night. Free water locations appeared on the festival map alongside lockers, food vendors, bars, restrooms, merchandise, medical services, and other amenities.

With seven distinct music areas shown across the festival schedule, there was always another artist or sound to find. That helped make Goldrush more than a festival built around a handful of headliners.

Final Thoughts on Goldrush Music Festival 2026

Goldrush: Midnight Riders brought together two nights of electronic music at one of Arizona’s most distinctive festival locations.

The 2026 lineup had enough variety to let fans create completely different experiences. One person could spend the weekend following Alesso, Martin Garrix, Green Velvet, CID, and AC Slater, while another could build a schedule around Sullivan King, Boogie T, Deathpact, Delta Heavy, Ray Volpe, and ALLEYCVT.

That variety is important for a multi day EDM festival. The biggest names draw people through the gates, but the overlapping stages, supporting artists, local DJs, and unusual venue give fans reasons to keep exploring.

With Goldrush 2026 complete, attention will eventually turn toward what’s next. Fans who want another weekend of house music, bass, dubstep, and major EDM headliners in the Arizona desert can keep an eye on the official Goldrush Music Festival website for information about the next edition.

When the gates to the Wild West open again, Arizona’s electronic music community will have another chance to ride into Goldrush.
