Das Energi Music Festival 2019

Das Energi Music Festival 2019

V2 Presents held the eighth annual installment of Das Energi this past weekend at The Great Saltair located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thousands of people from across the country assembled to this amazing festival to enjoy comradery, music, activities, art, food, and much more.

This year’s headliners included Above & Beyond, Deorro, Galantis, NGHTMRE + Slander, RL Grime, Seven Lions, Tchami, Zeds Dead, Chris Lake, Lane 8, and Troyboi. This was an impressive lineup with a mix of house music to bass music and everything in between. We had an amazing experience at Utah’s largest festival.

Location

Das Energi is located at The Great Saltair, along the glittering shores of the Salt Lake, around 15 miles away from Salt Lake City. The venue was a magical place with three large stages set up along with multiple art installations, food, and other amenities.

The festival was held on Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 2 am. People traveled from Colorado, California, and many other states.

Stages & Layout

The festival consisted of three stages; Energi Field, Synergy Station, and Galactic Flats.

The Energi Field was the large outdoor main stage. It was a massive stage full of pyrotechnics, confetti, lights, fire, an amazing sound system, fireworks, and much more. It was overwhelming how large it was. It was a massive stage with plenty of room to find space to dance. Even during the headliners, you could easily get a great spot in front of the stage.

Synergy Station was the indoor warehouse-style main stage. This was a fun set up, giving off the vibe of an old school 90’s rave. The sound echoed throughout the warehouse and sounded great. There was always room on the dance floor and it never felt crowded.

The Galactic Flats was located on a sandy beach overlooking the Great Salt Lake. It was unique to go from a festival to be found on the beach. There were many art installations located all over Galactic Flats.

Food & Drink

There were many places to get food and drinks throughout the venue. While walking around we found pizza and other food trucks with appetizing foods to try. It was delicious.

If you wanted to get alcoholic beverages there was a bar set up upstairs separating the two main stages. It was the perfect location as you could get an ariel view of both stages within a 1-minute walk.

Why VIP?

Having access to VIP amenities at Das Energi is a nice addition with some unique perks. The VIP viewing decks at the gave guests a chance to get close to the action. Clean restrooms made the festival experience much better as there were no lines to wait in.

In Closing…

The Shralpin team is honored to have experienced our first ever Das Energi festival and look forward to many more. We will always hold this years’ experience near and dear to our hearts and are grateful for all the new memories and friends that we made. It is our hope that you get the opportunity to join us for next year’s 2020 edition of Das Energi.
