From the soulful melodies of Stick Figure and Damian Jr. Gong Marley to the infectious beats of Shaggy and Sublime with Rome, Cali Vibes delivered an unforgettable experience. With performances by icons like Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa and Rebelution, the air was charged with anticipation and excitement.

Setting the Stage

Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Long Beach, Marina Green Park served as the vibrant backdrop for the Cali Vibes Festival. With its sprawling green spaces and stunning ocean views, the venue provided the perfect setting for three days of music and celebration. Cool vendors dotted the landscape, offering a tantalizing array of food and drinks to satisfy every palate. 

Artist booths showcased a diverse array of crafts and creations, while non-profits spread awareness and support for important causes. The lively atmosphere of the venue infused the event with an extra dose of energy and excitement, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.

The Lineup

For three electrifying days, the Cali Vibes Festival was an oasis of music and joy, where every beat echoed with the spirit of California. The atmosphere was electric as Stick Figure, Damian Jr. Gong Marley, and Stephen Marley serenaded the crowd with soulful rhythms. Shaggy brought the heat, igniting a frenzy of dancing fans, while Common Kings and Tribal Seeds kept the energy soaring. 

Each performance was met with thunderous applause and cheers as Collie Buddz, Sublime with Rome, and Wiz Khalifa took the stage on Saturday, captivating the audience with their magnetic presence. Sunday brought a triumphant crescendo with Rebelution, Ice Cube, and The Roots, delivering unforgettable performances and leaving the crowd buzzing with euphoria and memories to last a lifetime.

The Boomyard Stage

The Boomyard stage at Cali Vibes was a dynamic fusion of global sounds reminiscent of Jamaica and the Caribbean’s vibrant street dances. With influences ranging from reggae and dancehall to soca and Afrobeat, this stage offered an eclectic mix of music that kept the crowd moving and grooving. 

Curated by Leslie Cooney, the founder of the original Boomyard pop-ups in Los Angeles, and her team, the lineup featured both established stars and emerging talent. From Protoje and Kabaka Pyramid to Stonebwoy and Blvk H3ro, each performance brought a revelatory vibe to the festival, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

Day 1: Friday, February 16th

Friday at Cali Vibes ignited with an explosive lineup that set the stage on fire. Stick Figure’s smooth reggae melodies laid the foundation, paving the way for Damian Jr. Gong Marley and Stephen Marley to captivate the crowd with their legendary presence. Shaggy brought his signature Caribbean flair, sending waves of excitement through the audience. 

Common Kings, Tribal Seeds, and Collie Buddz continued to elevate the atmosphere with their infectious beats and soulful lyrics. Each performance was met with roaring applause and swaying bodies as Barrington Levy, The Movement, and Inner Circle kept the momentum going. From start to finish, Friday was a whirlwind of talent and energy, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next two days of musical bliss.

Day 2: Saturday, February 17th

Saturday at Cali Vibes brought a diverse array of talent to the stage, captivating the crowd with their unique sounds and electrifying performances. Slightly Stoopid kicked off the day with their signature blend of rock, reggae, and funk, setting the tone for an epic day of music. Sublime with Rome kept the energy high, transporting fans back to the heyday of ska and punk. 

Wiz Khalifa brought his infectious hip-hop beats, while Sean Paul had everyone moving to his dancehall rhythms. The Interrupters, Hirie, and Save Ferris kept the party going with their lively sets, while The Pharcyde and Little Stranger delivered nostalgic vibes. From start to finish, Saturday was a non-stop celebration of music and good vibes, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what Sunday had in store.

Day 3: Sunday, February 18th

Sunday at Cali Vibes was an unforgettable finale, as the lineup delivered one powerhouse performance after another, leaving the crowd in awe. Ice Cube commanded the stage with his iconic presence, while The Roots mesmerized with their unmatched musical prowess. Kolohe Kai and J Boog brought a taste of island vibes, transporting listeners to tropical shores. 

Too Short injected the crowd with West Coast hip-hop energy, while Protoje and Kabaka Pyramid showcased the best of reggae’s roots. From the soulful harmonies of The Green to the high-energy beats of Tunnel Vision, every artist left their mark, ensuring that the festival ended on a high note. It was a day filled with pure musical magic, leaving attendees with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
