Artists To See At Northern Nights Music Festival

With its eagerly awaited tenth-anniversary event returning to California’s legendary Emerald Triangle, the Northern Nights music festival is promising to be one of the summer’s hottest events in the live music scene. From July 14-16, 2023, Northern Nights will take place at Cook’s Valley Campground near the Humboldt/Mendocino county line, with a staggeringly beautiful backdrop of redwood trees, rivers, and pristine lakes.  

Along with bringing some of the hottest current artists on stage, the Northern Nights music festival offers camping, outdoor activities, and a unique integration of legal cannabis sales and a traditional music festival setup. They even hold the unique honor of being the first music festival to produce their own strain of cannabis!

Top Artists at Northern Nights

As fun as the outdoor activities and numerous booths, vendors, and lounges are, the main attraction at Northern Nights is still the music. Since its inception, the producers of the event have always tried to put on a show to remember as one of Northern California’s best boutique festivals.

Despite being on the smaller side for festivals, Northern Nights boasts an impressive five stages. There’s the Main Stage, where most of the action will be, along with the River Stage where you can hear the music while swimming or floating. In addition, there is the Grove Stage tucked away in the trees, a Silent Disco Stage, and a Bunker Stage.

Dr. Fresch has been a legend in the electronica scene for over 10 years and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business like Skrillex’s label OWSLA.

MiMOSA’s blend of reggae, hip-hop, and psychedelic electronic music is the perfect soundtrack for the vibe at Northern Nights.  

Big Gigantic

A unique saxophone and drum duo, Big Gigantic plays eclectic and immersive jazz techno mashups.

G Jones

Netsky

Netsky is a Belgian drum and bass music producer and DJ who has headlined some of the top music festivals worldwide. 

Bipolar Sunshine

Bipolar Sunshine is the performing name of Adio Marchant, a British musician and producer, who puts out incredibly catchy and smooth R&B-inspired electronica.
